No Rain Forecast in Dhaka, Temperatures May Rise

There is no chance of rain or thunderstorms in Dhaka and adjoining areas on Wednesday, although the sky may remain cloudy, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The weather is expected to remain mainly dry, while daytime temperatures may rise slightly.

The forecast, issued for the six hours from 7am on Wednesday, said the sky could remain temporarily partly cloudy.

Winds may blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 8–12 kilometres per hour, the forecast said.

The temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 26.5°C at 6am, with relative humidity at 89%.

Dhaka received 30 millimetres of rainfall in the previous 24 hours.
