The first session of the 13th national parliament is expected to be held next month, possibly beginning on March 12 or a day or two earlier.

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed shared the information in a post on his verified Facebook account tonight.

In the post, he wrote that the first session of the national parliament would be held on March 12 or slightly before that date.

During the inaugural session of the 13th parliament, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be elected. Ordinances promulgated during the tenure of the interim government will be placed before the House and a condolence motion is also expected to be presented, reports BSS.
