Bangladesh and Qatar today agreed to establish joint working groups to deepen bilateral cooperation in the energy and financial sectors following high-level talks in Doha.

The decision came during Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman’s separate meetings with Qatar’s Energy Minister Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi and Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, according to a press release received here.

It said in both meetings the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest, with particular focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy and financial sectors.
