
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will visit Jashore tomorrow to inaugurate development projects, lay the foundation stone of a medical college hospital, and attend a public rally.
He will depart Dhaka for Jashore by air in the morning, according to the Prime Minister’s Press Wing.
After arriving, the Prime Minister will travel to Sharsha upazila to inaugurate the Ulashi canal excavation project and address a civic reception.
He will then return to Jashore town and take a short break at the Circuit House.
In the afternoon, Rahman—also chairman of the ruling BNP—will lay the foundation stone of Jashore Medical College Hospital and address a public rally at the Jashore Central Eidgah ground.
He is expected to return to Dhaka by air in the evening after completing his daylong schedule.
This will be his first visit to Jashore since assuming office following a landslide victory in the February 12 general election, and his second visit to the district in the past three months.
Earlier, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman addressed an election rally at Jashore Upashahar Degree College ground on February 2.
