Bangladesh made their exit from the race of AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup following their 1-0 goal defeat to Vietnam in their ultimate group A match held at Nonthaburi Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand today (Tuesday).

Following the two previous matches defeat, Bangladesh at least needed a draw against Vietnam to keep their hopes of progressing to the knockout stage alive but all effort went to vain as the girls in red and green failed to snatch any single point.

After the barren first half, Thi Thuy Linh Nguyen finally broke the deadlock scoring the all-important goal for Vietnam in the 49th minute of the match.

Earlier, Bangladesh suffered 3-2 defeat to host Thailand in their group opening match and conceded 2-0 lose to China in their second match.
