A fire broke out at a power substation in Datia area of Brahmanbaria district town early Saturday, disrupting power supply to several areas.

The fire broke out at around 5:30am as an auxiliary transformer at the substation suddenly caught fire , said Md Nasir Uddin, assistant engineer of the Brahmanbaria Electricity Distribution Division.
