SSC, Equivalent Exam Results Published, Pass Rate 62.25%

The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, with the overall pass rate standing at 62.25 percent. A total of 116,676 students achieved the highest grade point average (GPA).

The results were published at 10:00am on Monday (10 August) on the websites of the secondary and higher secondary education boards. Students can check their results online, through their educational institutions or via SMS.

The pass rates by board are:

Dhaka: 71.63%
Barishal: 60.35%
Dinajpur: 58.05%
Cumilla: 65.42%
Chattogram: 59.48%
Rajshahi: 63.67%
Sylhet: 58.33%
Jashore: 66.27%
Mymensingh: 57.39%
Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board: 55.49%
Bangladesh Technical Education Board: 58.20%

Students can also access their results through the two common websites: eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd.

Results via SMS

Students can also receive their results by SMS. They need to type SSC, followed by a space, the first three letters of their education board, another space, their roll number and the examination year, and send the message to 16140.

For example, the SMS format for Dhaka Board candidates is:

SSC DHA ROLL YEAR

For Dakhil candidates under the Madrasah Education Board, the format is:

SSC MAD ROLL YEAR

For SSC (Vocational) candidates under the Technical Education Board, the format is:

SSC TEC ROLL YEAR

Each SMS will cost Tk 1.39, including all applicable taxes.

Nearly 1.86 million candidates

A total of 1,857,344 students completed registration to sit for this year's SSC and equivalent examinations.

Of them, 1,418,398 students appeared under the nine general education boards. Another 304,286 students registered for the Dakhil examinations under the Madrasah Education Board, while 134,660 students took the SSC (Vocational) examinations under the Technical Education Board.

Re-scrutiny applications from August 11

Students wishing to have their results re-scrutinised can apply from 11 August to 17 August.

The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said in a notice issued on Saturday that applications for re-scrutiny would be accepted online during this period. Detailed instructions will be published on the respective education boards' websites.

Educational institutions will collect students' results from the designated websites. Institutions can download and publish the results by entering their board name and Educational Institution Identification Number (EIIN) in the 'Result' section.

Students can also collect their results from the common education board website, individual board websites and their respective educational institutions. Results are also available via SMS at 16140 or 16222.

The results were published simultaneously by the Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur and Mymensingh education boards, as well as the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
