The adviser visited the plant construction site project in Ishwardi, Pabna today and observed progress of the work.
Salehuddin spoke to the workers and engineers engaged in implementation of the project and appreciated them for their relentless efforts. He observed the current status of the construction work and wanted to know in detail about the progress of various stages of the project.
The nuclear power plant is being established following all international rules and regulations. It is expected that the nuclear fuel loading activities will start very soon.
During the inspection, cabinet secretary Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid, finance secretary Dr Md Khairuzzaman Majumder, economic relations division secretary Md Shahriar Quader Siddiqui, science and technology secretary Md Anwar Hossain were present.
Chairman of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Authority and the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Construction Project Director were present at the time, reports BSS.
