Two killed as bus hits truck in Bogura

Two people were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Nandigram upazila of Bogura district on Wednesday .



Two people were killed and six others injured as a speedy bus hit the back of a truck stranded near the road in Nandigram upazila of Bogura district on Wednesday (October 26).
The incident took place in front of Karim Filling Station in bus stand area of the upazila around 11 am.
The deceased were identified as helper of the bus Babu Mia and Mahbubur Rahman Talukdar.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nandigram Police Station Anwar Hossain confirmed the incident.
On information, locals rescued them and quickly sent them to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for treatment, the OC said.
Rusel Ahmed, deputy inspector of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical Outpost, said that among the injured, Mahbubur Rahman died within 15-20 minutes after being taken to the hospital. His body has been kept in the hospital’s morgue.
