Khagrachari, February 10: Adviser for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Supradeep Chakma said that women players from the Hill Tracts are bringing fame to the country in the field of sports by showing extraordinary skills. The Bangladesh women's football team has become the SAFF Games champion with the goals of Rupna Chakma and Monika Chakma.

The adviser said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the reception and award distribution ceremony for the Khagrachari Girls' Under-17 Team winning the National Gold Cup Football Tournament (Boys and Girls) 2025 Chittagong Divisional Level at the Khagrachari Circuit House today.

The adviser also said that the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs will provide all-round support to improve the quality of play of local players in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

Later, he announced the inauguration of the tournament by releasing a balloon.

Later, Adviser Supradeep Chakma inspected the construction project of a hostel for 60 students to be built in the premises of Kamalchhari Pilot High School in Khagrachhari district.
