
In a statement, the commission described a “dangerous escalation” and said this year’s figure is more than double the toll for all of last year.
Most of the deaths were in the Ramallah and el-Bireh governorate, where 15 were killed, and in Nablus, where seven were killed. Three were killed in Hebron, two each in Jerusalem and Salfit, and one in Qalqilya.
The commission said Israeli forces and settlers carried out 2,051 attacks on Palestinians and their land and property in September, reports AL Jazeera.
