Ukraine's southern Kherson region came under Russian drone attacks on Saturday evening, shortly after the ceasefire announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin took effect at 6 pm local time (1500 GMT).
Governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported on social media that around 6 pm, eight Russian drones struck a high-rise residential building, setting several flats ablaze. Later in the evening, three more drones targeted two villages in the region.
"Unfortunately, we do not observe any lull," the governor stated, indicating that hostilities have continued despite the declared truce.
