Two ships carrying clinker, coal unloader cranes at Pyara Port

Patuakhali: The mother vessel MV Meghna Venus carrying with Meghna Group's 54,400 metric tons of clinker has anchored at Payra Sea port's inner jetty. Unloading of clinker lighters from the mother vessel from Vietnam began on Monday.

Another mother vessel MV Jin Zhu Xiang 88 from Singapore anchored at the same port. Coal unloader cranes for jetty of second unit of Payra 1320 MW thermal power plant have been brought by this ship. The weight of this crane is 1365.81 metric tons.

Besides, MV Jin Zhu Xiang 88 from Singapore anchored at the port on January 21. Unloading of coal unloaders from the ship has started as the ship docked at the thermal power plant jetty today.

With this, a second unloader crane has been brought to upload coal from the ship for the second unit built in this power plant. - Gofran Biswas Palash
