A mobile app named 'Fuel Management' has been launched in Rajshahi for proper fuel management and simplify services.

The decision was taken at a discussion meeting held today in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office. The new system will come into effect from tomorrow on experimental basis.

Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam presided over the meeting. Owners of the filling stations and other senior administrative officials were present.

Under the new system, designated pointmen at fuel pumps will scan the vehicle's registration number before supplying fuel. This will increase transparency and accountability of the supply process.

No separate registration will be required to use this service. As a result, general users will be able to easily access this facility, reports BSS.
