Patuakhali: Ganodhikar Parishad's higher council member and 114-Patuakhali-4 (Kalapara-Rangabali) constituency Ganodhikar Parishad's nominated candidate, Rabiul Hasan, has withdrawn from the 13th National Parliament election.

He withdrew from the election by expressing full support for BNP's nominated candidate ABM Mosharraf Hossain through a press conference at Kalapara Press Club on Sunday at 3 pm. At the time, BNP nominated candidate ABM Mosharraf Hossain, along with leaders and activists of Ganodhikar Parishad and BNP's affiliated organizations, were present.

At the press conference, Rabiul Hasan said that he has withdrawn for the sake of development of Patuakhali-4 constituency and pledged to work for the sake of paddy sheaf. ABM Mosharraf Hossain said that Rabiul Hasan has reflected the unity that the BNP needs in the coming days. He congratulated the two leaders and requested all the leaders and activists to work with them.
