BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said the country now has a chance to establish a just state and called for a fair and inclusive electoral environment.

Speaking at a public outreach in Thakurgaon-1 constituency this morning, he said, "BNP wants a beautiful and fair electoral environment with the participation of all parties and is working tirelessly to achieve that goal."

He alleged that some quarters are trying to hold Bangladesh back and prevent the country from progressing.

Mirza Fakhrul also criticized attempts to restrict women's participation in work and society, reports BSS.

Commenting on a recent 'X' (formerly Twitter) post by Jamaat Ameer, he said, "If the Ameer has made such misogynistic remarks, it is wrong. In Bangladesh, women and men will work side by side on an equal footing to advance the nation and the world."

The BNP leader urged citizens to move forward with courage and fearlessness, emphasizing the importance of responsible voting. He told the voters, "The future of the country is now in your hands. You cannot afford to make mistakes in your decisions."
