BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to return to Dhaka on December 25 along with his daughter, Zaima Rahman, according to the party chairperson’s personal secretary Abdus Sattar.

They are expected to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11:00am after traveling from London via Sylhet, he said.

Tarique had earlier confirmed his return date while addressing a Victory Day programme organised by the BNP in London earlier this week.

His homecoming will mark the end of nearly 17 years of self-imposed exile in the United Kingdom.
