Ex-secretary Abu Alam arrested in Dhaka

Detectives in a drive arrested former secretary Abu Alam Mohammad Shahid Khan from Borak Tower in the Eskaton area of the capital on Monday.


Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area at noon and arrested the former secretary in a case filed with Shahbagh Police Station, said Deputy Commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Talebur Rahman.

Besides, police arrested five more people from different parts of the capital for joining a sudden procession brought out by Awami League supporters, reports UNB.
