13 cases filed, 135 arrested over Panchagarh clash

Police have so far filed 13 cases and arrested 135 people in connection with the clashes between police and Muslim devotee in Panchagarh on Friday (March 3).



Police have so far filed 13 cases and arrested 135 people in connection with the clashes between police and Muslim devotees over ‘Salana Jalsa’ event of the Ahmadiyya community in Panchagarh on Friday (March 3).
More than 10,000 named and unnamed people were made accused in the cases filed with Panchagarh Sadar Police Station and Boda Police Station on various charges including spreading rumours, attacks, vandalism, looting and obstructing government work.
Panchagarh police super SM Sirajul Huda confirmed the development on Wednesday (March 8) morning.
