Police on High Alert Over Possible Bomb Attack Threats

Police have placed all districts and police ranges across Bangladesh on high alert amid fears of possible bomb attacks based on intelligence inputs.

Police Headquarters issued the alert on Friday night, directing officers across the country to remain extremely vigilant while carrying out their duties.

According to police sources, officers assigned to night patrols, mobile duty and checkpoints have been instructed to exercise heightened caution in view of the reported threat.

Police personnel have also been ordered to immediately inform senior law enforcement officials about any suspicious incident or unusual activity encountered during duty.

The alert has been communicated nationwide through radio messages, while heads of different police units have also been informed, according to Police Headquarters.

The latest alert comes amid heightened security concerns in the country, with police urging personnel to maintain maximum vigilance to prevent any possible incident.
