3 buses torched in Dhaka

No casualties have been reported.



Three buses were set on fire in Sayedabad, Agargaon and Gabtoli areas of the capital on Saturday night (December 2), on the eve BNP's 48-hour blockade.

However, no casualties have been reported.

Fire service headquarters Duty Officer Rakibul Hasan said miscreants set fire to three buses in the areas separately. Locals managed to douse the blaze before arriving fire fighters.

Sources said unidentified miscreants set fire in a parked bus in front of a school in Sayedabad around 10:48pm.

In Gabtoli, a bus was torched in front of the bus terminal around 11:09pm. In Agargaon, a passenger bus was set afire around 11:00pm near the Agargaon Radio Bhaban area.
