President Mohammed Shahabuddin expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Advocate Abdus Sattar Bhuiyan MP.

In a condolence message, the Head of State prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.

Abdus Sattar Bhuiyan, former state minister for land and member of Parliament from Brahmanbaria-2 (Sarail-Ashuganj) constituency died at a hospital in Dhaka in early Saturday at the age of 84.
