PM to Launch Krishak Card Distribution in Tangail on April 14

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will inaugurate the distribution of Krishak Cards in Tangail on April 14. The programme will take place at Shaheed Maruf Stadium.

Fisheries and Livestock State Minister Sultan Salahuddin Tuku described the launch as a matter of pride for the people of Tangail. Speaking to journalists after inspecting the venue, he called the Krishak Card a groundbreaking initiative for farmers’ development.

During his visit, Tuku reviewed preparations and issued instructions to officials to ensure the programme runs smoothly. Agriculture Secretary Rafiqul E Mohammad and other officials were also present.

A preparatory meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office conference room, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque. At the meeting, Tuku urged all officials to perform their duties with utmost responsibility.

At the inauguration, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will personally hand over Krishak Cards to 15 farmers, marking the start of the nationwide rollout.
