Media Development Needs Journalists’ Issues Solved

New Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan, MP, today said that media development is not possible in any way without solving the problems of journalists.


He made the remarks this afternoon while visiting the National Press Club and holding a courtesy meeting with journalists.

The minister also highlighted the importance of independent journalism to strengthen the media. 

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yeaser Khan Chowdhury, MP, was present at the occasion.

National Press Club President Hasan Hafiz, Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists Secretary General Kader Gani Chowdhury, Dhaka Union of Journalists President Shahidul Islam, and journalists of the BNP beat, among others, were present, reports BSS.
