The Police Headquarters (PHQ) has warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone threatening peace-loving citizens. In a statement, the PHQ emphasized that threats from anti-social elements targeting individuals from various backgrounds are being closely monitored.

“Threatening any person is a criminal act,” the statement read. The police urged victims of such threats to immediately report them to the national emergency service (999) or the nearest police station.

The Bangladesh Police reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens while maintaining law and order across the country.
