Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today called on global investors to bring their businesses to Bangladesh, emphasizing the country's potential to create transformative change.

"Bangladesh is a land of bold ideas and innovative solutions… and here, those ideas become reality," Yunus said in his keynote address at the opening session of the Bangladesh Investment Summit-2025, held at Hotel Intercontinental.

The summit, organized by the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), attracted a diverse group of international and local leaders. Oscar Garcia from Spain, Rosy Winterton from the United Kingdom, and Nasim Manzur from Bangladesh also addressed the gathering, underscoring the country's dynamic investment landscape.

BIDA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun presented an in-depth overview of Bangladesh's business potential, showcasing the country's rapid economic growth and development prospects.

Lutfey Siddiqi, the Chief Adviser's Special Envoy on International Affairs, moderated the session, guiding the discussions with insight into Bangladesh's expanding role in the global market.

The four-day summit, which commenced on April 7, is aimed at highlighting Bangladesh's evolving investment opportunities and recent economic reforms. The event also focuses on establishing long-term investment pipelines to ensure sustainable growth in the coming years.

The summit, attended by investors, top business executives, and policymakers from across the globe, marks a significant step toward positioning Bangladesh as a leading investment destination in Asia.
