Dhaka, 3 March - Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Tabith Awal today paid a courtesy call on Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma.

The meeting, held at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, was
also attended by BFF vice-president Fahad Karim, said a press
release.

The discussion primarily focused on the upcoming AFC Asian Cup
Qualifier matches between Bangladesh and India.

Both sides expressed optimism that football can serve as a
bridge to strengthen the ties between the two countries and
promote greater cooperation through sports.

The BFF looks forward to a successful tournament and further
collaborations with India to enhance the development of
football in both nations.

Bangladesh will play their away match of the qualifiers
against India on March 25 in Shillong, India.
