Fire breaks out at jhut godown in Gazipur

A fire broke out at a jhut godown in the Ambagh area under Konabari police station in Gazipur on Friday night.


The fire started around 7:30 pm, said Md. Mamun, assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service.

Five firefighting units have been deployed to the scene to control the blaze, he added.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and the extent of the damage will be assessed once the fire is brought under control, reports UNB.
