Chemical factory catches fire in Gazipur

A fire broke out at a chemical factory at Bagher Bazar in Rajendrapur in Gazipur district on Wednesday (November 19).


The fire started at the factory around 12:55 pm and spread to the adjacent godown and houses, said Talha Bin Jashim, an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defense (Media cell).

On information, nine firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the flame, reports UNB.
