Meghna Bank Launches Bangla QR Payment Service

Meghna Bank PLC has launched its Bangla QR payment service through its MeghnaPay app, allowing customers to make digital payments by scanning merchants’ Bangla QR codes.

Meghna Bank Managing Director Syed Mizanur Rahman inaugurated the service at the bank’s head office.

Additional Managing Director Md Sadiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Momtazul Karim N Ahmed and other senior officials of the bank were present at the launching ceremony.

With the new service, Meghna Bank customers can use the MeghnaPay app to scan any merchant’s Bangla QR code and pay for goods and services directly from their smartphones.

The service is part of the bank’s efforts to expand digital payment facilities and support the country’s move towards a cashless economy.
