Popular Life Hands Over Tk2.47cr in Claims in Munshiganj
Popular Life Insurance PLC has handed over insurance claim cheques worth Tk2.47 crore to policyholders in Munshiganj as part of its ongoing special initiative to expedite claim settlements.
The cheques were handed over on October 7 at the auditorium of the Munshiganj Muktijoddha Bhaban.
Popular Life Insurance Managing Director and CEO and Bangladesh Insurance Forum President BM Yusuf Ali attended the programme as the chief guest.
Additional Managing Director BM Shawkat Ali, Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Khalilur Rahman Sikder, Executive Director Md Jahangir Hossain and General Manager Md Salahuddin Ahmed were also present.
The programme was chaired by Project In-Charge Md Mozammel Haque.
Speaking at the event, Yusuf Ali said handing over claim cheques to customers after the maturity of their insurance policies was part of the company’s responsibility.
He said the company believed that, with the trust and cooperation of its customers, Popular Life Insurance would continue to play a significant role in Bangladesh’s insurance sector and remain committed to supporting its policyholders in the future.
