Erfanul Haque appointed as Petrobangla chairman

Md Erfanul Haque, additional secretary of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, has been appointed as the chairman of Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla).


The public administration ministry yesterday issued a notification in this regard signed by joint secretary Abul Haiyat Md Rafique.

The notification also transferred current chairman of the state run Petrobangla Md Rezanur Rahman to the Bangladesh Petrleum Corporation as chairman. It said the order issued for public interest will come to effect immediately, reports BSS.
