Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves have reached $34.29 billion, according to the latest data released on Wednesday by Bangladesh Bank.

Under the International Monetary Fund’s BPM6 accounting method, which calculates usable reserves following international standards, the country’s reserves stood at $29.57 billion.

The BPM6 framework provides a more accurate measure of liquid foreign currency assets that are readily available for balance of payments support and other international obligations.
