Lightning strike kills youth in Kishoreganj

A youth was killed in a lightning strike at Adityapasha village of Egarosindur union under Pakundia upazila of the district.
The deceased was Wahid Mia, 21, son of Majnu Mia of the village.
Lightning followed by a rainstorm hit Wahid in the afternoon when he was working at his farm land, said Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Pakundia Police Station.
Locals quickly rescued him and took him to Pakundia Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead, reports BSS.
