Thai ambassador meets Foreign Ministry secy

Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh Thitiporn Chirasawadi paid a courtesy call on Dr Md Nazrul Islam, Secretary (East and West), at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh on Sunday (8 March).

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, developments in South Asia and Southeast Asia, as well as the foreign policy priorities of the new government of Bangladesh.

On this occasion, Ambassador Thitiporn emphasised the potential for enhanced cooperation between Thailand and Bangladesh and expressed Thailand’s readiness to further promote trade, connectivity, and people-to-people ties.
