On International Women’s Day, the German Embassy in Dhaka on Sunday reaffirmed that human rights are not a limited resource and they do not shrink when shared.

“If women enjoy 100% of their rights, it benefits 100% of humanity,” said the Embassy in a message.

Advancing gender equality is essential for democracy, development and peace, Germany said.

Germany said it remains a steadfast partner for women’s rights in the EU, the UN, and worldwide, reports UNB.
