Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nepal’s Federal Parliament, Indira Rana, met with Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today during her official visit to Dhaka.

The meeting took place at the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in Tejgaon, where both sides discussed issues of mutual interest, including regional cooperation, parliamentary engagement, and strengthening bilateral ties between Nepal and Bangladesh.

Indira Rana expressed appreciation for Bangladesh’s ongoing support for regional development and emphasized the importance of continued dialogue between neighboring nations. Professor Yunus welcomed her visit and reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to fostering strong diplomatic and parliamentary relations with Nepal.

The visit is seen as part of broader efforts to enhance collaboration between South Asian countries through high-level parliamentary diplomacy and leadership exchanges.
