Man held with arms, ammo in Gazipur

Members of joint forces in a drive arrested a man along with arms and ammunition while taking preparation for committing robbery at Kamarpotti in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur district on Friday night.
The arrestee was identified as Akash Mia, 27 of the district.
Tipped off, a joint forces team of Rab-1 and army personnel conducted a drive in the area at night and arrested Akash along with one foreign made pistol, one magazine, one bullet and one mobile phone set, reports UNB.
