Overseas cricketers start arriving for BPL

Dhaka, 23 Dec  - The overseas players for the six BPL franchisees have started arriving in Bangladesh ahead of the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 tournament, which is set to begin this Friday.

Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir, who will play for the Sylhet Titans, arrived in 
Sylhet late last night, as confirmed by the franchise management.

Rajshahi Warriors' two direct signings, Sahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Nawaz, have already reached Bangladesh to begin their BPL campaign.
 
The Rajshahi squad has been further bolstered with the arrival of Nepalese 
leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, Pakistan all-rounder Hussain Talat, and Sri 
Lankan fast bowler Binura Fernando.

So far, Rajshahi has secured the majority of their foreign recruits well 
ahead of the tournament.

Among the overseas players for Rangpur Riders, Pakistan's Khushdil Shah has 
also arrived in Bangladesh.

According to the schedule, the remaining overseas players from other 
franchises are expected to join their respective teams by December 25.BSS
