Dhaka, 18 Aug - Alex Marshall who was appointed as consultant to supervise the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) anti-corruption activities has arrived in Dhaka today.

Marshall served as the ICC's ACU general manager until September last year. He was given one-year contract to supervise the BCB's own anti-corruption activities.

The decision to appoint him was taken in the last board meeting on August 10.

"We appointed Alex Marshall to enhance our ACU activities," BCB Media Committee Chairman Iftikhar Rahman Mithu told the reporters while announcing the outcome of the meeting.

"Marshall worked with the ICC earlier. We think our ACU needs to be bolstered, that is why we are bringing him in," Mithu said, noting that the ICC's integrity unit will also monitor the BPL.BSS
