
Bangladesh will open their Asia Cup campaign against Indonesia on 31 August at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, followed by matches against Sri Lanka and the UAE.
At the Asian Games, Bangladesh will face China in the quarterfinals on 17 September. A semifinal against the winner of India and Japan awaits if they progress.
According to BCB media release, Nigar Sultana Joty will captain the side, with Nahida Akter as vice-captain. The squad also includes Dilara Akter, Juairiya Ferdous, Sharmin Akter Supta, Sarmin Sultana, Sobhana Mostary, Shorna Akter, Ritu Moni, Fahima Khatun, Rabeya Khan, Marufa Akter, Sultana Khatun, Shanjida Akther Maghla and Fariha Islam Trisna.
