Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, delivers a video statement on Monday

Iran’s top military commander has vowed to continue powerful retaliatory operations against Israel until Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is brought to what he called a state of “utter helplessness.”

In a video address on Monday, following the 21st phase of Operation True Promise III, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said Iranian strikes would persist without pause in response to what he described as crimes by Israel and the United States.

“These criminal acts will not go unanswered, regardless of the extent of damage inflicted on us,” he said, referencing Sunday’s U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow.

Major General Mousavi accused U.S. President Donald Trump of intervening in the conflict to prop up Israel’s embattled leadership. “Trump, having witnessed Netanyahu’s collapse under the weight of defeat, decided to give him artificial respiration through this reckless act,” he said.

The U.S. strikes, carried out by stealth bombers under Trump’s direct orders, marked a dramatic escalation, prompting international condemnation and Iranian vows of retaliation.

Iranian forces responded swiftly, launching multiple phases of True Promise III, targeting Israeli military infrastructure. Officials in Tehran have warned that further American aggression will be met with an even stronger response.

“The very nature of this aggression violates international law and reveals the desperation of our enemies,” Mousavi added, promising continued operations until Iran’s objectives are achieved.
