Mild cold wave may abate at some places

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Tuesday predicted that the ongoing mild cold wave may abate at some places in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am Tuesday.



 Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Tuesday predicted that the ongoing mild cold wave may abate at some places in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am Tuesday.
"Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna,  inajpur,Panchagarh, Kurigram, Moulavibazar, Chuadanga and it may abate from some places," said a met office release here Tuesday.
Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during early morning, itadded.
Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
However, temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearlyunchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 31.2 degrees Celsius at Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today was 7.6 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
The sun sets at 5.53 pm today and rises at 6.32 am tomorrow in the capital.
