Actress Tanjin Tisha surrenders in fraud case

A court here today granted bail to actress Tanjin Tisha in a case lodged for alleged fraud and breach of trust.


Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Jewel Rana passed the order as the actress surrendered before the court and pleaded for bail.

According to the case statement, Aponia Fashion executive Aminul Islam filed the case against Tanjin Tisha on November 5, 2025, alleging that she did not pay the bill for a saree and failed to keep her promise to advertise for the company.

The Detective Branch (DB) of police recently submitted its report against the actress, following which the court issued a summons against her on August 12, reports BSS.

In compliance with the court order, Tisha today surrendered before the court and sought bail.
