JnUCSU election postponed following death of Khaleda Zia

The Jagannath University Central Students’ Union (JnUCSU) election was postponed on Tuesday following the death of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.


The decision was announced in a notice signed by Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr Mostafa Hasan.

According to the notice, the University Syndicate, the highest authority of Jagannath University, unanimously decided at an emergency meeting held in the morning to suspend the Jagannath University Central Students’ Union and Hall Students’ Union Election 2025, which was scheduled for the day, reports UNB.
