The government has directed relevant departments to take immediate action against officials and employees found involved in corruption.

According to a letter issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on March 20, these actions will be based on intelligence reports. The directive comes as part of ongoing efforts to combat corruption within public institutions.

The decision was made following the second meeting of the Public Administration Committee, which was chaired by Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed.

The letter, signed by Deputy Secretary Jamila Shabnam, emphasizes the government’s commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability within public administration.
