The government is preparing to appoint new officials to two key positions in Bangladesh’s administration—the Cabinet Secretary and the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration.
The appointments are expected to bring new leadership to two of the government’s most important administrative positions and could be finalised soon.
The Cabinet Secretary is the country’s highest-ranking civil servant and plays a central role in coordinating the government’s administrative affairs and implementing key decisions.
The Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration oversees major aspects of the civil service, including postings, transfers, personnel management and administrative policy.
The expected changes come as the government seeks to strengthen coordination, improve administrative efficiency and streamline the civil service.
