PM chairs first ECNEC meeting of new govt

Dhaka, Apr 6 -- The first meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) under the new government began on Monday.

The meeting is being held at the Cabinet Division conference room at the Bangladesh Secretariat.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is presiding over the meeting, said a PMO release.

Ministers and officials concerned are present at the meeting to place and discuss various development project proposals. - UNB
