Mild cold wave to continue

(BSS) - Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping overRangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Gopalgonj, Kishoreganj,Moulavibazar, Jashore, Kushtia and Chuadanga and it may continue, said aBangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin. "Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins and light tomoderate fog at places elsewhere over the country during midnight tomorning," said the bulletin issued for 24 hours commencing 9 am today.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearlyunchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 27.8 degrees Celsius atSitakunda while today's minimum temperature 7.2 degrees Celsius was recordedat Tetulia.
The sun sets at 5:41 pm today and rises at 6:42 am tomorrow in the capital.
