Rain and thunder showers likely across country

Hail storm was experienced in Bangladesh recently.

Dhaka, April 6 -- Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning flashes are likely at a few places across the country in 24 hours from 9 am on Monday, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

Parts of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions may experience such weather, with chances of hailstorms at isolated locations, said a Met office bulletin.

Day temperatures may drop by 1 to 2°C, while night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country, according to the forecast. - UNB
